The Problem
UK Legislation changes have made Returning Officers responsible for enabling blind and partially sighted voters to mark a ballot paper independently, in secret and with confidence.
The Solution
The McGonagle®Reader (MGR), Pakflatt’s patented audio voting system was successfully trialled with Irish Organisations for blind and partially sighted citizens in April 2022. (The results of this trial are published in the McGonagle®Reader brochure which is downloadable in PDF format from the downloads page).
Several authorities in England have already placed orders for the McGonagle®Reader for upcoming elections.
